The scintigraphic findings of Tc-MDP whole body bone scan and Tc-MIBI imaging are presented. In the bone scan, there is markedly increased radioactivity in the acetabulum of the right hip. In the MIBI study, there is increased radioactivity in the corresponding area. The scintigraphic findings and the clinical history suggested the possibility of thyroid carcinoma with bony metastases. The diagnosis of adamantinoma was revealed by histopathology.
